Prof. Pradeesha Ashok delivered an invited talk on “Exact and FPT Algorithms for Graph Burning” in the online Algorithmic Graph Theory Seminar Series, organised by Prof. Martin Golumbic, University of Haifa, Israel. The talk was attended by several graph theory researchers from all over the world.

IIITB Conducts FDP at MIIT
IIITB conducted a six days Faculty Development Programme from May 08-May 13, 2023 for faculty of MIIT at Mandalay, Myanmar. FDP was conducted by Cmde SR Sridhar on Academic Administration, Prof GR Sinha on Internal Quality Assurance, Prof Raghuram on AI, ML & NLP and Mr Vivek Yadav on Data Centre and networking.

Prof. Chandrashekar Ramanathan was an invited speaker at Uber Data Con 2023 as part of the Round Table on Data Quality at scale. It was organised by Uber’s India engineering team. The full-day conference was dedicated to data engineering, cutting-edge data platforms, and effective Data Management to make better business decisions. He mentioned IIITB’s efforts in integrating heterogeneous data for the Government of Karnataka. Additionally, he provided detailed information on collaborative research endeavors aimed at tackling real-world problems, as well as IIITB’s notable contribution to BMTC transportation data.

Prof. Raghuram Bharadwaj delivered a lecture on “Evolution of Large Language Models and the Role of Reinforcement Learning” delivered to the Mphasis employees as part of our research collaboration with Mphasis (as part of Mphasis Cognitive Computing CoE).
Prof. Shrisha Rao participated as an external expert in the faculty selection committee for the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar.
