Discussion on Geopolitical Turbulence and Open Technology Flows

IIIT-Bangalore hosted a session by Lokendra Sharma, Staff Research Analyst at The Takshashila Institution, on Geopolitical Turbulence and Supply Chains: Why Open Tech Flows Are in India’s Interest on June 19, 2026.

The session brought together students, researchers, and technology enthusiasts to examine the evolving relationship between geopolitics, technology, and global supply chains. The discussion offered insights into how shifts in global technology ecosystems influence India’s strategic and economic interests.

The session was organised under the aegis of the ARTHA Institute, the Lead Knowledge Institution (LKI) Centre of NITI Aayog hosted at IIIT-Bangalore.
