
The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-Bangalore) celebrated the graduation of the second batch of its Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Product Design and Management (PGD-DPDM) programme on June 27, 2026. Eighteen students graduated from the one-year interdisciplinary programme that integrates technology, design, management, and social sciences.
Congratulating the graduating class, Director Prof. Debabrata Das encouraged the students to embrace lifelong learning, remain curious, and apply their knowledge to create meaningful impact in an increasingly technology-driven world. Quoting Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, he reminded the graduates that, “Excellence is a continuous process and not an accident,” urging them to pursue innovation with integrity and purpose.
The Director acknowledged the contributions of the faculty, mentors, and staff who supported the students throughout the programme. He also recognised the leadership of Prof. Amit Prakash, Head of the Department of Digital Humanities and Societal Systems, for his role in shaping the PGD-DPDM programme and fostering an interdisciplinary learning environment.
The ceremony also celebrated the unwavering support of parents and families, whose encouragement played an important role in the graduates’ success. As they embark on the next phase of their careers, the Class of 2026 carries forward the values of excellence, inclusiveness, and service that define the IIIT-Bangalore community.
