Machine Intelligence & Robotics (MINRO) of IIIT Bangalore was a Platinum Sponsor for The First International Conference on AI-ML Systems which was held in hybrid mode in Bangalore during October 21-24, 2021.
The conference focused on research at the intersection of Systems Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques. In particular, the conference examined how immense strides in AI/ML techniques are made possible through advances in computational systems. Alongside, the focus was also on the utility of data-driven AI/ML explorations in design space of computational systems. In the discussions held as part of the conference, new breeds of AI/ML systems that enable new forms of socio-techno-economic systems and the ensuing new research directions in AI/ML techniques, were discussed. The conference attracted 74 paper submissions, out of which, 24 papers and 1 demonstration were selected for presentation. Prof. V. Ramasubramanian was a Program Committee Member of this Conference.

Prof. Meenakshi D’Souza delivered a lecture on “Decision Trees” at the Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Application of Machine Learning to Software Engineering (AMLSE-2021) conducted during 1st to 12th November 2021, organized by NIT – Warangal and KIIT, deemed-to-be University, Bhubaneswar.
