I deeply appreciate their unwavering support, as it has played a pivotal role in exploring different career paths and making informed decisions about my future,” she adds.
Digital Society is a discipline that studies the impact of digital technologies on society, from social media to e-commerce, and everything in between. This subject dives into the opportunities and challenges that come with this digital revolution. “My branch elective, Digital Society had a profound impact on both my professional and personal growth. Professionally, these courses enabled me to explore my interests and develop a comprehensive understanding of interdisciplinary research. On a personal level, they fostered a newfound love for reading.”
Janvi says that IIITB really looked after me during my time there. “Having YourDost, an online service portal for emotional health coupled with the support from the student and faculty network really helped boost my mental well-being at IIITB. They’ve got these confidential committees where we can talk about any problems we’re dealing with. It’s like a safe space to sort things out and find solutions”.
‘Upon joining the program, every student at IIITB is assigned both a senior mentor and a faculty mentor, who play a crucial role in ensuring our smooth transition into college life. This thoughtful initiative provides invaluable support and guidance as we adapt to our new environment.
Overall, Janvi’s time at IIITB was truly exploratory. The flexible curriculum and amazing faculty made it an exploratory experience like no other. I discovered so much, developed a deep understanding of interdisciplinary research, and got fueled to explore even more, IIITB, rocked my world,” she sums up.
