Allu Pavan Karthik Reddy and Chillukuru Ashok Reddy, iMTech students of IIIT-Bangalore’s iMTech program, along with their team named ‘Team AKREDDY,’ secured the 3rd place in Investors’ Vista, a strategic investment competition held at E-Summit’24, organized by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). The competition presents a formidable challenge, requiring participants to navigate through an online quiz, a business valuation challenge and a final pitch event at IIT Roorkee. Contestants were tasked with presenting investment strategies and analyzing startups, guided by workshops and evaluated by a panel of esteemed judges.

“In the heart of IIT Roorkee’s bustling campus, amid the hum of ambitious minds and the energy of innovation, we found ourselves immersed in the dynamic atmosphere of Esummit’24 Investors Vista. It was an experience that surpassed our expectations, igniting our passion for strategic investment and sustainable growth.

We started by conducting a comprehensive SWOT analysis, delving deep into the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of each investment opportunity. This process allowed us to identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies, leveraging the companies’ strengths and market opportunities. Drawing on insights from overall industry trends, including Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) and market growth projections, we refined our strategy to capitalize on emerging opportunities. For Groww, we recognized its disruptive potential in the fintech space, leveraging the growing trend of digital investment platforms. With Bira and Zypp, we saw not only the financial promise but also the opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable future, aligning with our values and long-term vision.
As we immersed ourselves deeper into the investment landscape, we carefully crafted our exit strategy, anticipating market shifts and ensuring flexibility to capitalize on future opportunities. Our approach was not just about short-term gains but about building a portfolio that would withstand the test of time and contribute to positive change in the world.
