‘Anubhava – IIIT Bangalore Career Blog Platform’ is a new initiative as part of the Placement Cell of IIIT Bangalore. The aim of the platform is to archive all the summer industrial and research internships, scholarships, full-time opportunities, paper publications, conference experiences of students and alumni of the institute.
The blogs are published on our college domain http://anubhava.iiitb.ac.in/ and encompass complete information about the opportunities, including but not limited to, eligibility criteria, application procedure, personal tips and tricks etc.
This platform has emerged as an effort to encourage students, especially junior batches to discover, prepare for opportunities and seek out seniors with similar backgrounds thus facilitating networking and lifting the community standards overall.
Anubhava is open to accepting blogs by students irrespective of the batch or type of experience. In fact, every student is requested to come forward and share their experience which will, in turn, help them archive it on an institute recognized platform.
This project is currently being undertaken by IMT2018 students – Sai Akash, Nikitha, Utkarsh, Rithwik and Aarushi, mentored by Tejas under the supervision of the Placement Office.
Anubhava provides better visions among students
“With Anubhava, I look forward to collecting and utilizing the wealth of resources our predecessors and seniors have generated through their experiences to plant a seed in the younger ones to aspire for greater feats” said Tejas Kotha.
“Amidst this fierce competition to get internships, jobs and fellowships, knowing what the ones selected before you have done can be an advantage. Anubhava makes this possible by exposing one to more opportunities and to learn from previous experiences” Sai Akash Konidena.
“With the archives that Anubhava provides, it is really helpful for the students to understand how the industry works and how the workplaces feel like and on the whole gives them a worthwhile experience before going to their next workplace” Sai Rithwik M
