Mr. Henri Verdier (French Ambassador for Digital Affairs), along with Mr. Thierry Berthelot (Consul General of France, Bangalore), led a delegation of French policy analysts and trade officers to IIIT Bangalore on April 21, 2022. This visit was part of a week-long visit of the Ambassadors to India. Our Director, Prof. Debabrata Das, welcomed the delegation and introduced them to the MOSIP team. Prof. S. Rajagopalan, President, MOSIP, made a presentation to the Ambassador, providing a brief overview of the organisation and its achievements. The delegation was then shown to the MOSIP Experience Centre at the institute where they were able to experience the working of the platform first-hand.
The Ambassador acknowledged the importance of the work being done by the MOSIP team and applauded the role of IIIT-Bangalore in anchoring this unique endeavour. Our Registrar, Commodore SR Sridhar (Retd), thanked the delegation for taking the time to visit the institute and appreciate the work being done by the MOSIP team.
