Prof. Srinath Srinivasa, and members of Gooru Research, visited the Prayoga Institute of Educational Research, at Kanakapura Road. This institute aims to impart experiential learning in all areas of science and mathematics to gifted high-school students, and has mentors from IISc, IIM, ISRO, etc. Prof. Srinath also delivered an invited lecture entitled “Models for Digital Empowerment”

A panel discussion on Fairwork India Ratings 2023
The report on Fairwork India 2023 Ratings was discussed at a panel, ‘Alienation and Discrimination in the Platform Economy’ on October 30. The panel discussion was moderated by Prof. Bidisha Chaudhuri and the opening remarks were given by Prof. Chandrashekar Ramanathan, Dean (Academics), IIIT-Bangalore. The panelists included Dr. Manjunath Gangadhara, Additional Labour Commissioner, Government of Karnataka, Dr. Sakshi Khurana, NITI AayogSerish Nanisetti, Journalist, Hyderabad, Rakshita Swamy, Social Accountability Forum for Action and Research (SAFAR). The session was followed by Q&A.
