IIIT Bangalore’s students visited Cisco, Bangalore

Industrial visits provide the students with an opportunity to learn through interaction, working methods and employment practices. It gives them exposure to current work practices as opposed to theoretical knowledge being taught at their college classrooms. In order to learn about the professional environment of the software industry, the students of IIIT Bangalore visited Bangalore’s Cisco campus. Top officials from the company briefed the students about career roles and opportunities in the IT industry. Cisco officials also shared a few suggestions for success and answered all the queries posed by the students. After the session, students took a tour around the Cisco Campus to see the workstations and facilities.
