Sasi Snigdha Yadavalli (iMTech Student) was selected as one of the Top 60 women engineering students in the prestigious “Women in Tech” program by NXP. This program serves as a beacon of inspiration, encouraging women to pursue their passions, break down barriers, and make their mark in the world of technology.

“Women in Tech” program by NXP represents a bold and forward-thinking approach to addressing gender disparities in the tech industry. Through its commitment to empowering women, this program stands as a testament to NXP’s dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion in the field of technology.

Prof. Debabrata Das, Director IIIT-Bangalore has been selected as Chairman of the IEEE India Council for 2024, marking his second consecutive year. Selected by the IEEE Nomination Committee, his appointment underscores his exceptional leadership and expertise.


iMTech students Pranav Bhutada, Kushal Partani, Yash Gupta & Siddharth Chauhan secured 3rd place in “HACK4TKM” hackathon. HACK4TKM is a National Level Hackathon organized by TKM College of Engineering, Kollam and TKM Institute of Technology, Kollam in collaboration with Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre TKMCE & Institution’s Innovation Council TKMCE on 16 -18th February 2024.

NIMHANS and IIIT-Bangalore sealed a collaborative pact, embarking on a joint venture in the realms of Information Technology and Neuroscience. Captured in this frame are Prof. Debabrata Das, Director IIIT-B and Prof. Pratima Murthy, at the helm of NIMHANS, alongside Professors T K Srikanth and Jaya Srivalsan Nair, accompanied by esteemed faculty members from NIMHANS. This MoU heralds a new era of collaborative exploration, delving into avant-garde frontiers of IT and neuroscience research.
