This cartoon is a satirical take on a common rant heard among researchers and academicians, where they justify their leaving for greener pastures of the west because of unfriendly academic environment and lack of opportunities in India. The message is that there are many problems here waiting for bright minds to solve.
The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore is a technical and research university in Bangalore, India. The Institute is a registered not-for-profit society funded jointly by the Government of Karnataka and the IT industry under a public-private partnership model.
