Prof. Ishu Gupta ​Delivered an invited talk at Workshop on M2M and IOT Interfacing Design Protocols for Embedded System at MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore.

​​Prof. Amit Prakash was invited to deliver a talk on ‘Emerging Opportunities in the Tech4Good Sector and the Need to Focus on Interdisciplinary Education’ at the International Labour Conclave organized during 24-26 May 2023 by the Government of Kerala at Thiruvananthapuram.

The Conclave was organized to commemorate the history of the association of the International Labour Organization (ILO) with India and Kerala, and Kerala’s contributions in upholding the objectives and principles of ILO in the world of work. The sessions at the Conclave discussed workers’ rights and labour practices in Kerala and in the larger context of India and the world.

Jobin Josey (Ph.D. Scholar) presented his paper titled “A spring-mass mechanical system with moving edges having rich dynamical behaviour” co-authored with Prof. Balakrishnan Ashok at the Third International Nonlinear Dynamics Conference (NODYCON2023) on 20 June. The conference took place in a hybrid mode, combining both physical and virtual participation, in Rome, Italy.

Riddhika Mahalanabis (Ph.D. Scholar) presented her paper titled “Dynamics of a damped variable mass system: Leaky balloon with string” co-authored with Prof. Balakrishnan Ashok, on 20 June at the Third International Nonlinear Dynamics Conference. The conference, held in Rome, Italy, featured a hybrid format, combining both physical and virtual attendance.

The first, “From technological change to frugal innovation: Economic and organisational implications”, was at the Universidad Nacional de Rafaela (UNRaf), Rafaela, Santa Fe province, Thursday, 22 June 2023.

The second, ‘Is a technological revolution possible in emerging economies?’ was at Government House, Rosario, at the invitation of the Ministry of Production, Science and Technology, Santa Fe province, Friday, 23 June 2023.

Prof. Ishu Gupta Presented an invited poster at INAE NatFoE-23 Conclave in BIT Mesra, Jharkhand at its 17th National Frontiers of Engineering (NatFoE-23) Symposium.

Prof. Shrisha Rao participated as an external expert in the faculty selection committee for the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar.

Prof. Balakrishnan Ashok was a UGC Research Schemes evaluator (January, 2023) for Dr. S Radhakrishnan Post Doctoral Fellowship and Dr. D S Kothari Research Grant for Newly Recruited Faculty Members.
