Prof. Amit Prakash was invited to deliver a talk on ‘Emerging Opportunities in the Tech4Good Sector and the Need to Focus on Interdisciplinary Education’ at the International Labour Conclave organized during 24-26 May 2023 by the Government of Kerala at Thiruvananthapuram.
The Conclave was organized to commemorate the history of the association of the International Labour Organization (ILO) with India and Kerala, and Kerala’s contributions in upholding the objectives and principles of ILO in the world of work. The sessions at the Conclave discussed workers’ rights and labour practices in Kerala and in the larger context of India and the world.

Jobin Josey (Ph.D. Scholar) presented his paper titled “A spring-mass mechanical system with moving edges having rich dynamical behaviour” co-authored with Prof. Balakrishnan Ashok at the Third International Nonlinear Dynamics Conference (NODYCON2023) on 20 June. The conference took place in a hybrid mode, combining both physical and virtual participation, in Rome, Italy.
Riddhika Mahalanabis (Ph.D. Scholar) presented her paper titled “Dynamics of a damped variable mass system: Leaky balloon with string” co-authored with Prof. Balakrishnan Ashok, on 20 June at the Third International Nonlinear Dynamics Conference. The conference, held in Rome, Italy, featured a hybrid format, combining both physical and virtual attendance.
