March 14: “Compressed Sensing MRI: k-space Sampling to Reconstruction”, by Dr. Raji Mathew, IISc Bangalore. The session was chaired by Prof. Neelam Sinha, IIIT Bangalore.

March 21: “Quantifying human brain white matter microstructural organization using track weighted imaging”, by Dr. Rajikha Raja, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The session was chaired by Prof. Madhav Rao, IIIT Bangalore.

COMET Foundation’s webinar

IIITB COMET Foundation conducted a virtual webinar on “Indigenous 5G Technology Development” on March 25, 2022 as a part of their Thought Leadership Series on Advanced Communication Systems.  Prof. Debabrata Das, Director inaugurated the series. Prof. Kiran Kuchi (Dean R&D, IIT Hyderabad) was the speaker for the webinar. On March 26, a virtual workshop on “5G-NR Physical Layer: Modeling, Technologies and Standards” was held as a part of Workshop Series on Advanced Communication Systems.  Dr. Prem Singh (IIIT Bangalore) and Dr. Ekant Sharma (IIT Roorkee) were the speakers. Over 125 participants attended the workshop.

March 28: “Medical AI- Medical Image and Signal Analysis “, by the Research Group of Prof. Neelam Sinha, IIIT Bangalore (Dr. Gopika Gopan (PH2014003), Mr. Sunil Kumar Vengalil (PH2014010), Mr. Sai Pradeep Chakka (PH2018014) and Ms. Snigdha Agarwal (PH2018016). The session was chaired by Prof. Neelam.
