Heartiest congratulations to Team Coders@IIITB—Ansh Gupta, Prakrititz Borah, Ramya Parsania, and Sriram Srikanth—for their outstanding victory at the Amazon Smbhav Hackathon! Choosing the theme “Create a GenAI-Powered Tool to Simplify Cross-Border Regulations and Government Incentives for Sellers in E-commerce,” the team developed WorldWise: AI-Powered Regulatory Navigator for E-Commerce Expansion. This cutting-edge platform simplifies exports with innovative features, including document templates for compliance, country risk analysis powered by machine learning, tailored government incentives, an AI negotiation assistant, and a comprehensive export guide. The team’s triumph reflects their ingenuity and commitment to solving real-world challenges, making the entire IIITB community proud.

Anirban Mukherjee wins IAPR Best Student Paper Award
Research Associate Anirban Mukherjee brought laurels to IIIT Bangalore by winning the IAPR Best Student Paper Award at the International Conference on Computer Vision and Image Processing (CVIP) 2024, hosted by IIITDM Kancheepuram.
His award-winning paper, “SemUV: Deep Learning-based Semantic Manipulation over UV Texture Map of Virtual Human Heads,” was part of his MS by Research program and was co-authored by V. S. Bitra, V. Bondugula, T. R. Tallapureddy, and Prof. Dinesh Babu Jayagopi.
