An interactive session on feminine hygiene titled “Period Love, Bleed Green” was held, during which Rupal Ralph, CEO of Rekke Personal Care Pvt. Ltd. (Stonesoup.in), addressed the many issues women face in their daily lives. A showcase of sustainable menstrual products was also organised as part of the event. Overall, the session was highly informative and engaging.

150 years of Vande Mataram a timeless song that stirs the soul.
At IIIT-Bangalore, we marked this special day with a heartfelt gathering of students, faculty, and staff who came together to sing the song in chorus.
Cmde S R Sridhar (Retd.), Registrar, addressed the assembly and reflected on the spirit of Vande Mataram, reminding us that while it symbolizes our nation’s struggle and patriotism, true devotion shines through sincerity in our daily work and meaningful contribution to our nation’s growth.

Aikyam, IIIT-B and SAVE – ‘S’erve ‘A’nd ‘V’alue ‘E’very-life Value Added Learning Programme students visited the Wildlife Hospital and contributed to several rehabilitation activities. They helped prepare rope ladders for monkey rehabilitation, created indoor rehabilitation spaces for animals, refilled and cleaned around 30 water points, and cleaned a large water tank for the animals.

The Bangalore VIS Workshop, organised by GVCL, IIIT-B in partnership with VGL, IISc, was held at IIIT-Bangalore.
The workshop featured expert talks, interactive discussions, and collaborative knowledge-sharing sessions that inspired innovation and further strengthened the VIS research community.

Our Constitution, Our Collective Voice. On the occasion of Constitution Day, we continued our tradition of reading the Preamble together. Faculty, students, staff members, and 15 students from Jagadguru Shri Balagangadhar Swami (JSB) School for the Blind, Ramanagara, were also present. It was a meaningful gathering that celebrated the spirit of unity and constitutional values.
