The IIIT-Bangalore futsal team clinched first place at Revelation ’25, the annual fest of Symbiosis Institute, displaying outstanding skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Competing against sixteen teams from renowned institutes, our players demonstrated exceptional determination and strategic gameplay throughout the tournament. Spandan 2025: A Celebration of Sportsmanship and Unity at IIIT-Bangalore
Spandan 2025, the annual intra-college sports fest of IIIT-Bangalore, was held from January 24th to 26th, 2025, bringing together a remarkable 900 participants from within the college community. With a diverse lineup of 14 events, the fest featured traditional sports such as Basketball, Football, and Cricket, along with niche competitions like Esports and Gym events, ensuring an exciting experience for everyone.
The event commenced with a grand opening ceremony graced by the presence of Prof. Debabrata Das, Director alongside Prof. Chandrashekar Ramanathan, Dean (Academics), and Dr. Neha Arora, Sports Officer. Their inspiring words set the tone for three action-packed days of sporting excellence and camaraderie.
The campus witnessed intense and thrilling matchups, with athletes demonstrating exceptional skill and determination. From nail-biting basketball games to gripping Esports battles, every event brought out the best in participants, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and teamwork.
As the fest drew to a close, the closing ceremony celebrated the efforts and achievements of all participants. Dr. Debabrata Das, along with other esteemed guests, presented medals and certificates to the winners and runners-up, acknowledging their outstanding performances. Amidst cheers and applause, Spandan 2025 concluded on a high note, reinforcing the bonds within the IIITB community.
