Congratulations to Prof. Debabrata Das, Director, IIIT-Bangalore, on receiving the prestigious IEEE Bangalore Section Medal of Honor 2025 for his outstanding research and technical leadership in Digital Public Infrastructure and Computer Networking.
The award was presented on 18 Jan 2026 by the IEEE Bangalore Section, recognised as the world’s largest IEEE section in 2025 among 340+ sections globally.


IIIT-Bangalore students participated in Revelation 2026, held on 17th and 18th January 2026, organised by the Symbiosis Institute.
Demonstrating excellent sporting spirit and performance, Nikita secured the Gold Medal in Women’s Singles Badminton, while Aryan won the Silver Medal in Men’s Singles Badminton.


We are delighted to inform you all that our dance club “Impulse” secured first position in PulseEra (Group Dance Competition) at Envision’26, organized by ICFAI Business School on 23 January 2026.


Congratulations to our students who participated in the ACM ICPC Regionals 2026. One of the teams, comprising Integrated M.Tech students Shreyas Ghildiyal, Anant Ojha, and Adithya Sunilkumar, secured first prize at the Coimbatore Centre (Amritapuri). The team was mentored by Prof. V. N. Muralidhara.
